Warriors, if you are reading this publication, you are a member of or will soon assume duties in America’s Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Response Enterprise. The Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Response Enterprise is an insurance policy for a nuclear detonation of an improvised device or some other catastrophic chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) event on what would be America’s worst day. Responding to a CBRN event or any other significant disaster will require the skills outlined in this training circular.
US&R involves the location, rescue (extrication), and initial medical stabilization of individuals trapped in confined spaces, trenches, vehicles, machinery, and structural collapses. This chapter will assist in setting up teams, developing a site lay out, and preparing for rescue or recovery operations.

A popular size to carry anywhere (briefcase, large pocket, purse) but the print is large enough for easy reading. The binding is with coil, allowing easy flipping of pages without jamming.
