Army Sustainment Command (ASC) is a subordinate command of United States Army Materiel Command (USAMC). It integrates and synchronizes the delivery of USAMC materiel enterprise capabilities to supported Army Service component commands, corps, divisions, and installations through the employment of its subordinate Army field support brigades, Army field support battalions, and logistics readiness centers. ASC provides equipment and materiel support to operational Army units wherever required in support of the Army’s global power projection mission and assists with integrating Logistics Civil Augmentation Program capabilities into operations.
ATP 4-98 Army Sustainment Command Operations provides an overview of ASC’s organizational structure and mission and describes how Army field support brigades, Army field support battalions, and logistics readiness centers provide access to USAMC’s broad range of strategic-level support to build and maintain combat power.
