ATP 4-93 Theater Sustainment Operations provides sustainment doctrine at the theater echelon. This publication provides doctrinal guidance for theater sustainment operations in support of multidomain operations. ATP 4-93 provides techniques for leaders to plan, prepare, execute, and assess sustainment operations at the theater echelon. It describes the sustainment roles and responsibilities that enable the combatant commander to set the theater; synchronize commodities and services; execute Title 10 sustainment support; execute coalition and multinational support; conduct theater distribution and theater opening operations; manage prepositioned stocks; and coordinate early-entry Class III bulk fuel distribution.
The principal audience for ATP 4-93 is theater Army commanders and staffs, all Army Soldiers and Civilians who provide sustainment support, and those members of the Army profession who depend on and receive that support. Trainers and educators throughout the Army will also use this publication as the foundation for training and education.
