This publication describes the Service operations and tactical role in CBRN defense and countering weapons of mass destruction (CWMD). It also describes how CBRN functions, operational fundamentals, and defensive employment capabilities (organizations, personnel, technology, and information) are currently applied within the context of CBRN operations. This publication includes CBRN operations as they apply to each Service military decision making process.
