ADP 4-0 Sustainment – 2019 – Mini size

ADP 4-0, Sustainment, is the Army’s principal sustainment doctrine that captures the most critical lessons from a decade of continuous, small scale, land combat. In this edition, we retain lessons of the past but also look to a future where large-scale combat operations against peer threats is a distinct possibility. This publication builds on the idea that success requires fully integrating Army sustainment operations with the efforts of unified action partners, across all domains, to achieve enduring outcomes.

ADP 4-0 provides a common operational doctrine for sustaining Army forces operating across the full range of military operations in multiple domains of air, land, sea, space, and cyberspace.  ADP 4-0 informs the preparation, sustainment, and execution of operations. All leaders need to understand and be familiar with it.

ADP 4-0 serves as the sustainment doctrine for the Army. Its central idea, adapted to the unique conditions of each operational environment, represents how the Army sustains unified action. It will permeate our sustainment doctrine, our training, and our leader professional development programs now and into the future.

ADP 4-0, Sustainment constitutes the Army’s view of how it supports prompt and sustained operations on land and sets the foundation for developing the other principles, tactics, techniques, and procedures detailed in subordinate doctrine publications. It also forms the basis for Army training and education system curricula.

This book is a “Mini” (half the size of a piece of paper).

A popular size to carry anywhere (briefcase, large pocket, purse) but the print is large enough for easy reading.  The binding is with coil, allowing easy flipping of pages without jamming.

The color covers are laminated for weather protection with black and white inside printing.
