ATP 3-60.2 SCAR – Strike Coordination and Reconnaissance provides strike coordination and reconnaissance (SCAR) multi- Service tactics, techniques, and procedures (MTTP) for coordinating interdiction. The end state is a streamlined interdiction process that meets the commander’s intent by providing executable tasks to exploit and destroy targets. This publication serves as a reference for planners, and a checklist for operators to execute SCAR missions.

This publication describes tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) for tactical level planning and execution of the SCAR mission, and addresses operational considerations for effective application. SCAR interdiction assets include fixed-wing (FW), rotary-wing (RW), and surface-to-surface fires.

This book is a “Mini” (half the size of a piece of paper).

A popular size to carry anywhere (briefcase, large pocket, purse) but the print is large enough for easy reading.  The binding is with coil, allowing easy flipping of pages without jamming.
