FM 5-0 Planning and Orders Production – 2024 – Mini size

FM 5-0, Planning and Orders Production, is the Army’s comprehensive reference manual for planning. It provides an overview of the fundamentals of planning and details the various planning methodologies for planning operations. It is the Army’s doctrinal source for problem solving, the military decision-making process, troop leading procedures, assessment planning, and formats for Army plans and orders.

The principal audience for FM 5-0 includes Army commanders, leaders, and unit staffs (including officers, noncommissioned officers, and Soldiers.

FM 5-0 applies to the Active Army, the Army National Guard/Army National Guard of the United States, and the United States Army Reserve unless otherwise stated.

The intent of this version of FM 5-0 is to consolidate information on planning and orders production into a single document to support planning at all echelons.

This book is a “Mini” (half the size of a piece of paper).

A popular size to carry anywhere (briefcase, large pocket, purse) but the print is large enough for easy reading.  The binding is with coil, allowing easy flipping of pages without jamming.

The color covers are laminated for weather protection with black and white inside printing.
