Definition of firing table. : a table giving the elements of standard trajectories for a particular gun and type of ammunition and for effects produced by conditions (as of temperature or wind) that are not standard.
A tabular firing table, or TFT, allows a gunner to carry out manual calculations to arrive at an aiming solution–elevation, azimuth, and fuze setting–to engage targets under a variety of conditions.
This book is a “BIG” (the size of a regular piece of paper) size – Coil binding is used to allow for easy page flipping with no binding.
